A suspected fake delivery driver was chased by police and found hiding behind a bin before being arrested in Gorton on Tuesday (September 16).

The man was seen by officers during Operation Venture, aimed at tackling serious and violent crime in the area, carrying a food delivery bag. He ran away as he was approached.

Extra officers attended and a chase ensued. Greater Manchester Police revealed he was later found hiding behind a bin and found to have been wanted on recall to prison for other offences.
