Two people were killed and another was seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash in Morgan County Tuesday morning.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened on U.S. 50 near Old U.S. 50 at about 7:30 a.m.

An 18-year-old man from Sedalia was driving eastbound when he rear-ended a car, according to the crash report. The car was then pushed into the westbound lane where it collided head-on with a third car, according to the crash report.

A 48-year-old woman from Cole Camp was driving the second car with a passenger, a 45-year-old man from Versailles, and both were flown to University Hospital, according to the report. The Versailles man died at the hospital, and the woman was seriously injured, according to the report.
