HOUSTON, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M safety Bryce Anderson is expected to return to the field at some point this season after suffering an injury Saturday at Notre Dame that required a cart and backboard to remove him from the field, head coach Mike Elko said Wednesday on the Southeastern Conference Coaches Teleconference.

However, there is still some uncertainty on the extent of injury suffered by linebacker Scooby Williams in the game, according to Elko.

Anderson went down after attempting a tackle on Notre Dame tight end Eli Raridon near the end of the first half. Aggie defensive end Cashius Howell, attempting a tackle on the other side of Raridon pushed the player into Anderson’s head, while Anderson was lowering his shoulder for a tackle.
