Ravalli County Commissioners voted to approve the final draft of the county’s new natural resource management plan at their meeting on Monday, Sept. 15.

The new, all-encompassing resource management plan incorporates updated statistics and aims to better preserve Ravalli County resources. The plan was written by Ravalli County’s Core Team and informed by public surveys taken in the spring and summer.

Since the county’s last natural resource policy was published in 2012, broad swaths of change have swept over Ravalli County’s natural environment.
