WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) - A 38-year-old Watertown man is facing a plethora of charges after an alleged attack of another man in his own home.

The Watertown Police Department said that David Anderson unlawfully entered a home on East Hoard Street around 8 p.m. Monday night.

Authorities added that Anderson allegedly struck a 46-year-old man several times with a blunt metal object.

According to police, the victim sustained lacerations above his left eye and on the back of his head.

Court documents stated that Anderson was previously convicted of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance in January 2024 in Onondaga County Court.

Anderson was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree assault and first-degree burglary.
