LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
An 18-year-old has been arrested for making threats against the University of Louisville, and they are from nearly 500 miles away.

On Friday, around 4:45 p.m., deputies in Davie County, which is in North Carolina, said they received a request for assistance from the University of Louisville Police Department.
Officials said the university had received threats of mass violence.
Their investigation indicated that the threats originated in Davie County at an address on Bingham & Parks Road.
Davie County deputies said they responded to the address and identified Michael Tedder, 18, as responsible for the threats.
