Veteran actress Paula Shaw, known for her recurring role on Hallmark’s “Cedar Cove” and numerous holiday films, has died at age 84, Parade reports.

Shaw passed away peacefully on Sept. 10, according to an announcement from the Max, the personal development workshop she founded and led for more than three decades.

Shaw’s acting career spanned over five decades, with her becoming a familiar face to Hallmark Channel viewers through memorable supporting roles in productions including “Picture Perfect Christmas,” “Five Star Christmas,” “A Mrs. Miracle Christmas,” “Wedding of a Lifetime,” “Hanukkah on Rye,” and “Round and Round.”

Before finding her niche with Hallmark, Shaw built up her television resume during the 1970s and ’80s, appearing in classic shows such as “The Bob Newhart Show,”
