A lot of items were approved at a busy Sept. 17 meeting of the NJSIAA executive committee, including a new district and region alignment for wrestling , an increased wrestling match limit from 30 to 33 individual matches (for one season only) and a new statewide basketball mercy rule that triggers a running clock if a team takes a 35-point lead in the second half.
