MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The Monroe Police Department arrested a suspect who is accused of raping two children on multiple occasions.

MPD arrested Jahidi Johnson, 23, on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

Johnson was arrested on two counts of first-degree rape, two counts of sexual battery, two counts of molestation of a juvenile or a person with a physical or mental disability, and one count of aggravated crime against nature.

MPD said a 14-year-old told her parents Johnson had sexually abused her from the ages of 9 to 14. This report came on Aug. 25.
