GREENWICH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (PIX11) -- A traffic stop in Warren County resulted in the seizure of over $48 million worth of marijuana, THC, and cannabis products, New Jersey State Police announced on Wednesday.

The traffic stop was part of a commercial vehicle inspection on Interstate 78 on Wednesday, Sept. 10.

During the inspection of the tractor-trailer, police say they detected the odor of marijuana and indicators of trafficking activity.

A search resulted in the discovery of around 7,645 pounds of hydroponic marijuana, 44,456 THC vape cartridges, 9,572 packages of THC gummies, 59 liters of cannabis resin, and 83 THC-infused cigarette packages.
