Castlerock Asset Management has announced it has sold 25 percent of its equity interest in downtown’s Bobby Hotel building in a deal valued at $72 million.

A release notes the buyer was Music City Venture GP, details about which the Post was unable to determine.
As part of the transaction, Nashville-based Castlerock will no longer serve as the management company of the hotel business.
Relatedly, a separate investment entity also sold 25 percent of its equity in the property, with that entity's and Castlerock's ownership percentage having been sold representing the equivalent of 50 percent of the asset’s overall value, the release notes.
