Vanderbilt men’s basketball coach Mark Byington has landed his second consensus four-star prospect in the past week.

Jackson Sheffield, a 6-9, 240-pound center out of Hoover, Ala., committed to the Commodores on Wednesday, according to multiple reports .

Sheffield also posted several Vanderbilt commitment images of himself on his Instagram page.

ESPN ranks Sheffield as the No. 94 overall prospect in the nation, while the Rivals Industry Ranking lists him at No. 99 and 247Sports has him at No. 138. All three recruiting services listed Sheffield as a four-star prospect.

Sheffield picked Vandy over Maryland in the end, but also reportedly received offers from Tennessee, Alabama, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech and Mississippi State among others.
