Prince George Mounties say one person was found dead and another with gunshot wounds in the central B.C. city early Tuesday morning.
Police say they are investigating the shooting as a targeted homicide, and that they have arrested one person but no charges have yet been recommended.
The small apartment building where the victims were found, at 1933 Spruce St., is on a residential street between 15th Avenue and the Gateway Lodge long-term care home .
RCMP arrived at the residence around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday and detained multiple people in the home, who were released without charge, media relations officer Cpl. Jennifer Cooper said in a news release.
Mounties told CBC News the deceased victim died of gunshot wounds.
