There's a new effort in Tarrant County to reverse the growing trend of fatal drug overdoses.

Tarrant County Commissioners approved a new contract this week between Tarrant County Public Health, Recovery Resource Council (RRC), Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office, Connections Wellness Group, and Texoma High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area.

The groups will work on an Overdose Fatality Review (OFR).
