California authorities have identified the body of the teenage girl found in the trunk of a Tesla registered to singer D4vd. Celeste Rivas, who would now be 15, went missing from Lake Elsinor in California in 2024 when she was just 13. Her mutilated body was found last week in the trunk of a Tesla sedan sitting in an impound lot in Hollywood Hills. The car was registered to the 20-year-old singer, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke. She had a tattoo on her right index finger that read "Shhh...", similar to one D4vd has, TMZ reported, noting that other celebs have the same ink, including Rihanna and Lindsay Lohan. The deceased's mother told the outlet that her daughter once had a boyfriend named David. Alleged photos of the two together are circulating on social media. The petite teen was found wearing a tube top with black leggings and a yellow bracelet with similar metal stud earrings. Her body was wrapped in plastic and was badly decomposed. Suspicions were first reported to authorities when the car started to emit a foul stench, D4vd has been "cooperating with authorities", a spokesperson for the singer told NBC 4. No arrests have been made in connection with the discovery. In the meantime, D4vd has been removed from an ad campaign by Crocs and Hollister mere days after they announced him as the face of their Dream Drop collaboration. At time of reporting, tickets for D4vd's Withered 2025 World Tour are still on sale.
