CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A 51-year-old woman was killed early Tuesday after being struck by a car, and Cleveland police have made an arrest.
Cleveland police and EMS responded to East 128th Street and Kinsman Avenue around 1 a.m.
The victim, Yvonne Kemp, of Cleveland, was pronounced dead at the scene, which 19 News has learned is two blocks away from the suspect’s home.
Court records show Kamarion Jordan is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide in connection with her death.
Kemp died of blunt force injuries, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Court records show Jordan was arraigned Wednesday morning in Cleveland Municipal Court. Bond was set at $25,000.
He is due back in court Sept. 26.
