Fort Worth is having its strongest economic development year in more than a decade, according to a city report.

Fort Worth has secured $6.2 billion in committed investment and 4,000 jobs so far this year across various economic development project commitments, according to a Sept. 9 report to the city council. Most of that was secured during the third quarter of the year, with $5.3 billion and 2,400 jobs, according to the report.
