BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Louisiana man was arrested after being accused of child sex crimes.

According to the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office, detectives started an investigation into Marcus Meunier, 49, of Slidell. Meunier reportedly had a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old in exchange for nicotine vapes and other items over several months.

Meunier was arrested and booked into the Ascension Parish Jail on charges of three counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile, indecent behavior with a juvenile, and obstruction of justice.
