SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Singer D4vd has recently been linked to a homicide investigation in Los Angeles. Last week, authorities found human remains inside the front trunk of an impounded Tesla that is registered to D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke.

On Wednesday, the body was identified as that of 15-year-old girl Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who was missing for more than a year. The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating it as a homicide. According to TMZ, D4vd is cooperating with the police investigation.

D4vd is currently on tour and set to make a stop in San Francisco. The popular musician is slated to perform at The Warfield on Friday, Sept. 19.
