WASHINGTON — The story of "The Summer I Turned Pretty" isn’t finished yet.

Prime Video has greenlit a feature film that will serve as the conclusion to the hit young adult drama series, the streamer said. The announcement was made at the series finale red carpet celebration in Paris, France, according to Variety, and an Instagram post featuring cast leads Lola Tung and Christopher Briney in front of a marquee reading "The Summer I Turned Pretty: The Movie" surprised fans on Wednesday.

The movie will continue the story of Belly, played by Tung, and her circle of friends following the third and final season.
