Cops are on high alert ahead of the funeral of far-right political activist Charlie Kirk, saying the event seceurity will be like that seen at major events like the Super Bowl. ‌

A funeral for Kirk in Glendale, Arizona is set to take place on September 21. There will be a service at State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals NFL team and which has hosted three Super Bowls in 2008, 2015 and 2023. ‌

"We'll be providing the same level of service that we provide for any other event,” said Police Administrator Jose Santia
