LINDON — Traffic has resumed on northbound I-15 in Lindon after a multi-car crash officials now say injured three people and caused significant delays Wednesday.

At 9:15 a.m., a northbound dump truck lost a back tire, which bounced over the wall and hit two vehicles on southbound I-15, Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Cameron Roden said. The cars that were hit were cleared, but the dump truck was still on the shoulder of the freeway.

Traffic was slow in the area while troopers investigated the dump truck. In the slowdown at about 11:30 a.m., a passenger car stopped and was rear-ended by a semitruck, pushing it into other cars. In total, five vehicles were involved, Roden said.
