Tuesday’s slate of volleyball action posted one-sided affairs across the board. With three games in the books, Reedy and Highland Park are the only remaining unbeatens. The pack is starting to separate, so the teams currently on the outside looking in like The Colony and Newman Smith will be looking to avoid giving up any more ground, if not gaining some back.
Reedy opened district play with a five-set classic over Wakeland before getting a pair of sweeps over Creekview and most recently, The Colony. Tuesday’s three-set contest (25-8, 25-20, 25-11). The attack was balanced out with no Lady Lion picking up more than four kills, but senior Graice Wade had five aces. Junior Karina Crowder had four aces and 10 assists to aid the cause.
