Officials seeking those responsible for damage to East Millinocket recreation courts

EAST MILLINOCKET, Maine (WABI) - Authorities in East Millinocket are searching for those responsible for damaging tennis and basketball courts.

Town officials say several motorized vehicles were brought on the courts and pictures show a slew of tire marks on them.

Police say they have camera footage of those that did it.

The town’s recreation department adds the damage is expensive.

The courts are closed until further notice and officials ask anyone with information about the vandalism to contact the town office or police.
