TULSA, Okla. (KFOR) — Back in July, someone left a dog for dead in a dumpster. There is now a lead on who the suspect could be.
You may have seen the social media videos from back in July of Fern. Ashley Dwyer with the Oklahoma Alliance for Animals got a call about a dog they later named Fern, dying in a dumpster.
"She was so lifeless she could not even move anything except her eyes. She was her body. The score was at like a zero, like she was so emaciated and dehydrated. It was just. It was the worst thing I've ever seen. Ever," said Ashley Dwyer, with the Oklahoma Alliance for Animals.
Fern was barely alive when she was found, but she is now on the road to recovery.
Investigators have spent hours doing research and trying to identify the vehicle in these photos.
