OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Some of the dozens of roosters in a metro neighborhood were removed after a call last week to News 4.
"It's been happening for three years, but in the past year, it's gotten to the point where it's not bearable anymore," said one neighbor.
The home is found near Northwest 58th Street and MacArthur in Warr Acres.
According to Warr Acres code, the most a property can have if it is larger than one-third of an acre is two roosters.
The property on Friday had 40 to 50 roosters. Wednesday, however, there were closer to 15 left.
Neighbors said that the homeowner had several removed the day after the story ran.
However, officials in Warr Acres knew of the problem and said that they had been working to get it taken care of.
