OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — There have been three Jail Administrators for the Oklahoma County Detention Center over the span of nine months. The latest leadership shakeup is leaving many people wondering what happened.
The year began with Brandi Gardner as Administrator of the detention center. She stepped down in February, with Paul Timmons assuming the position of Interim Administrator.
On Monday, Timmons resigned, with Tim Kimrey chosen by the Oklahoma County Jail Trust to replace him.
The leadership shakeup has to do with an investigation into a "threat of workplace violence," that happened on August 14, but we don't know what the threat was.
