UPDATE: Public school parents, staff, students, and supporters from across Hamilton County are requesting that school board members reconsider their vote to end the relationship with Centerstone.

Residents are planning to hold a press conference outside of the Hamilton County Department of Education on Hickory Valley Road at 4:00pm before the school board meeting at 4:30pm on September 18.

Organizers of the press conference are asking the school board to restore the partnership with Centerstone.

On August 21, the board voted 6-5 to end the agreement with Centerstone.
