A social media post has sparked backlash for a Melbourne business owner. She has since apologized for her remarks, and the post has been deleted.
The post stated “sorry not sorry,” along with inappropriate comments regarding the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
“I was fueled by emotion,” said Kaili Lamb, referring to her post.
Lamb, who owns Lamb and Co. Fishmongers, said her words not only prompted an angry response online but also led her to disconnect the business’s phone line due to a flood of hateful calls.
“People hide behind their keyboards. They do. So it’s easy to be mean to someone … and I did it,” Lamb said.
