BUFFALO, N.Y. — On Wednesday, Buffalo Sabres general manager Kevyn Adams and head coach Lindy Ruff met with the media.
Adams shed some light on the injury to Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen. Luukkonen is experiencing pain when he pushes across the crease with his leg. Imaging was negative and Adams doesn’t anticipate this being a long-term process. Being day-to-day means Luukkonen likely won’t be at the first day of practice on Thursday.

Jordan Greenway had a setback and had to have another surgery in July. Adams said he’s hoping to have him ready by opening night in October. Alex Tuch has a minor ailment and will miss Thursday. He’s day-to-day.
