FLUVANNA COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office has identified a person who dropped off a gunshot victim at the Lake Monticello main entrance security station, and officials are still looking for her.

According to the sheriff’s office, the investigation has determined that the vehicle involved entered the Lake Monticello community near the Slice Gate and then drove to the main gate where the victim was dropped off.

Fluvanna County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the main entrance security station for the Lake Monticello community around 2:10 a.m. Monday.
