NORTH CODORUS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) - Five officers were shot in southern Pennsylvania while serving a warrant, state police said Wednesday evening. Three of the officers had died and two were in the hospital in critical but stable condition.

The shooter was also dead, officials said.

Ted Czech with the York County Office of Emergency Management said a 911 call came in at 2:10 p.m. ET for an incident in the areas of Haar Road and Senft Road in North Codorus Township, near the Pennsylvania-Maryland state line. In a brief statement, Czech said the incident is "evolving."

A source told WHTM that authorities were working to serve a warrant, but no additional details were available.
