FLINT TOWNSHIP, MI – Fire crews responded to a fire at an EV battery warehouse and training center in Flint Township on Sept. 17.

A firefighter sustained a minor injury during the response and is being treated at a local hospital, according to the Flint Township Fire Department.

The warehouse was located in the 5000 block of Exchange Drive, near the Flint Bishop International Airport.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Flint Township fire crews were assisted by the Burton and Flushing fire departments.
