FLINT TOWNSHIP, MI – A man who was walking along Ballenger Highway in Flint Township was killed in a hit-and-run between Van Slyke Road and the I-69 overpass.

Flint Township Police officers responded to calls about a man lying face down in the grass in the area at 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, according to a news release from the department.

The man, Thomas Carrol-Taylor, was walking alongside the road when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, according to the release.

Investigators are searching for the vehicle.
