Police are asking the public for information about a July 5 shooting that injured five people and ended with a police officer fatally shooting a teenager in east Lubbock.
Meanwhile, Lubbock police arrested two people - 23-year-old Reginald Washington and 24-year-old Marquis Dia - on felony charges in connection to the shooting that erupted during a fight at a business in the 2900 block of Parkway Drive, according to a LPD news release.
A Lubbock County grand jury returned indictments against them Tuesday charging them with counts of deadly conduct, a third degree felony that carries a punishment of two to 10 years in prison.
Washington was booked Tuesday into the Lubbock County Detention Center after he was arrested by U.S. Marshals in the 5900 block of 16th Street.
