FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A flood watch has been issued for multiple counties in the central and south valleys.

According to the National Weather Service, the flood watch is in effect for nearly the entirety of Mariposa, Tulare, and Kings counties, the northern half of Madera County, and the majority of Fresno County.

Debris flow is also possible in the Sierra Nevada due to the Garnet Fire and the burn scars of the Basin and French fires.

The watch is in effect from Thursday at 11 a.m. until Friday at 8 p.m.
