LACY LAKEVIEW, Texas (KWTX) - Police arrested a convicted felon in the assault that left a woman with severe injuries, including a lower right arm that “appeared disfigured and unable to be moved without extreme pain,” an arrest warrant states.

Andrew Christopher Lewis, 33, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon-family violence, according to court records.

Police officers were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Wisdom Lane in Lacy Lakeview on July 17.

The officers met the victim, who alleged Lewis brutally punched her in the face, arms and legs with his fist.

During the assault, Lewis picked up a knife and threatened to kill the victim, police wrote in the warrant.
