Former Mobile mayor Mike Dow endorsed Spiro Cheriogotis’ bid for mayor of Mobile, saying he has the vision and integrity needed to lead the Port City.

Dow, who took office in 1989 after Arthur Outlaw and left in 2005 before Sam Jones, said in a Wednesday afternoon statement he rarely endorsed candidates during his tenure, but Cheriogotis is the best choice for the job.
