The Blaine County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday afternoon asked for the public's assistance with tracking down a missing hiker.

The agency stated in a Facebook post at roughly 4:30 p.m. that it was seeking help from "anyone who may have been hiking out Prairie Creek on September 16-17, 2025" and has information about a missing hiker named Heather Wayment.

The Sheriff's Office provided a photo of Wayment and asked anyone with relevant information to call 208-788-5555.
