GREEN ISLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A new 200,000 sq. ft. warehouse opened in Green Island on Wednesday. Officials gathered at the location on Tibbets Avenue to cut ribbon on the building.

The New York State Office of General Services said the new warehouse consolidates four existing warehouses in the region that previously held state-owned inventory. Officials said it will increase the sustainability and efficiency of New York's warehouse operations.
