Historic Nomar Theater in Wichita’s north end to become food hall

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A long-shuttered building many Latinos in Wichita consider a cultural landmark is getting new life.

The Nomar Theater, located in the 2100 block of North Market Street, will soon be transformed into a food hall led by Empower, a local nonprofit dedicated to education, workforce readiness, and small business development.
