Bismarck, N.D. (KXNET)- A woman is now facing more jail time after pleading guilty to her role in a man's overdose death.

This week, Kiara Twinn pleaded guilty to a count of delivery of a controlled substance overdose death.

That comes after prosecutors charged her for an incident that happened at a Bismarck apartment in 2022.

Another woman told investigators that she was looking for heroin and that Twinn helped supply it.

According to documents obtained by KX News, they say the man in the apartment, who died, took a hit of the drugs, which an autopsy report later showed: were later found to be a mix of meth and fentanyl. Twinn had told investigators that she hid in a closet when police showed up to the apartment because she was afraid.
