ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

Bernalillo County Animal Care Services has now expanded services to the village of Los Ranchos as of Sept. 11 through a five-year intergovernmental agreement.

Through this partnership, residents in Los Ranchos will now also have access to the same animal care services provided to Bernalillo County, which include enforcement of the village ordinance, access to shelter resources, and after-hour emergency response.

"By partnering with Bernalillo County Animal Care Services, the village of Los Ranchos can now offer its residents more resources, including education, public outreach events, and emergency services," said Mayor Lawrence Rael of the village of Los Ranchos.
