HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Vendors at a popular food truck park are responding to a councilman's calls to shut it down.

It follows a series of complaints from nearby homeowners about the Galleria Food Truck Park on Chimney Rock near Westheimer.

"I'm convinced that the food truck operation is incompatible with the peace and tranquility of the neighborhood," Bartt Shelton said.

Residents say they've seen people stunt driving, peeing in public, and blaring loud music since the truck park moved in.

"They stay open 'till 4 a.m. in the morning and that's a really big problem," Jack Downer said. "They need to close at 8 o'clock or 10 o'clock at night."

Last Friday, around 11:30 p.m., an HOA camera captured a shooting across the street from the truck park.
