This was what the Giants hoped would happen when Malik Nabers got around Russell Wilson.

It took one regular-season game for that connection to really start cooking, and when it did it was something to behold.

Nabers last Sunday caught touchdown passes of 29 and 48 yards, and ended up with nine receptions for 167 yards. It was not enough to produce a victory, though, as the Cowboys beat the Giants 40-37 in overtime .

The last gasp for the Giants came when Wilson’s 41st and final pass of the game was a deep shot intended for Nabers.

The ball did not come close to finding the target and was intercepted by safety Donovan Wilson.
