HART COUNTY, Ga. (FOX Carolina) - The Hart County Sheriff’s Office reports a traffic stop turned into a pursuit on Wednesday.

Deputies said they attempted a traffic stop after seeing a white Ford Expedition with no tag on Old 29 Highway around 3:05 a.m. The driver refused to stop, which led to a pursuit.

The chase continued through several streets in Hartwell before ending on Rome Street, deputies said.

Deputies report 26-year-old Jonathan Alexander Tribble was charged with the following:

Felony fleeing and attempting to elude

Driving while license suspended

Possession of marijuana

Operating a vehicle without registration

Possession of ecstasy

He was taken to the Hart County Jail.
