Venezuela still wants to play Canada in November’s international window.

Canada Soccer said it found out Wednesday that ticket-holders for their away game against Venezuela in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Nov. 19 had been sent a cancellation notice by Chase Stadium. They contacted the Venezuelan football association and its match promoter, who reiterated that the match was going to proceed as scheduled and in accordance with the game contract, and the stadium’s notice was “premature.”
But they also said the were in discussions with Chase Stadium over a potential venue change.
