Recently, changes have been proposed to “grow West Virginia” by eliminating, focusing, reducing, implementing, enacting, growing, stimulating, enhancing and finding any other verb that reflects our intentions. In hindsight, it sounds refreshing. More so than raw milk.
National rankings place West Virginia in the bottom 10 for overall economic development but in the upper half in the United States for business friendliness. So, we’ve perfected our smile, but we lack in performance.
