SKOWHEGAN -- Maine State Police say they were called in to assist with an incident in Skowhegan on Wednesday night.

Details are few at this hour, but a spokesperson confirmed Maine State Police tactical and crisis negotiation teams were assisting Skowhegan Police with a barricaded subject.

The incident occurred on Beech Street.
