COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - One fantastic season is over for the Columbia Fireflies.

Columbia hosted the Lynchburg Hillcats tonight in the third and final game of the Carolina League championship series.

17-year-old Kendry Chourio started the game on the mound for the Fireflies

In the first inning, Riley Nelson hit a two-run home run to start things off for the Hillcats, putting the Fireflies in a 2-0 hole.

In the third inning, Lynchburg’s Dean Curley lined one to right field for an RBI triple to bring the score to 3-0.

After an double sends another runnner in, the Fireflies decided to make a pitching change.

Columbia was able get on the board in the fourth inning after a bases-loaded walk to make the score 4-1.
